  • Very nice my friend, well done on the restoration you've done a sound job there! Ignore all the negative comments, I can't understand why people look at video's like this when all they want to do is slate the car. As for Mruttercunt or what ever your name is, you are exactly that sir! And learn to spell you illiterate twat. Maidon?? For fuck sake, you can't claim attitude and not be able to deliver the basics!

  • @mark2too

I know that fuckin gimp uttercunt has put up videos of himself playing gran theft auto and he trys to slate me ha ha!!

Is the blue escort yours? Watched your drifting video, cant wait to fix my LSD!! Trying to find a 3.7 cwp before i pull the axle apart!

  • The little car looks like it should be a bit lower,I belive it would look better with larger rims and low profile tires! Ever think of a 5.0 fuel Injected motor or even a Vette power plant ? Or maybe a turbo v6 .It looks like it will be a fun toy! How much is fuel in the UK? It's about $3.60 a gal in Houston,tx

  • @ruwithlee1970

This is the style most people in ireland and uk go for, We put bigger rims on the rally cars but not so much on road cars, You would have to tub the back and flare the arches or shorten the axle, Some people put V6s in them but it leads them a bit front heavy and i can lift the back of the car off the ground. Fuel here is about €1.50 per litre at the moment thats about €7.50 per gallon. I know its crazy!!

  • great work man...how long did it take from start to finish??

  • Took About a year to get this far but I dont think it will ever be finished! Im thinking Zetec/Xe/4AGE conversion this summer and maybe some better brakes. Thanks for the comments lads!!

  • Top job

I've owned many mk1's and 2's and appreciate the work that goes into getting one up to standard.

I owned a Mk1 Mexico in black, sold it back in 1990 for £400 :-(

  • the body looks brill but i hope you keep the original engine in as that is true restoration. i know u like the idea of making it fast but if everyone rips the old engine how can it still be called a classic after all it did not leave the factory like that.

  • that looks very nice. good job.

  • nice work. I also started my mk2 mexico project but its still a lot work to do.

  • @paulykelly129

Yes the blue MkII is mine, that was filmed a couple of years back now and at the moment it's a bare shell again and I've fitted Tarmac arches, new atlas axle, new 220 bhp redtop engine etc etc. Can't wait to get it finished! Best of luck with yours, get that diff in and get the back out!
