  • it was sent to vic dead wood as he said he fitted cote cosso rear shocks because they took the pee out of him because the gas girlings failed abroad and he fitted maico shocks

and a yamaha front hub ! so he admitted, and i have a letter from the boss alan clews that it was supplied to him and him only engine fc3 for his third season as a factory rider he was also issued with 77006/90841077 and spare engine

9090107710 true he wasnt the best ccm rider

  • @sparra1946 thanks for the info you might be well right about the bike

my frame number is 77003 i have a letter from armstrong (alan clews himself) telling me it was issued to vic eastwood in 1977 with two spare engines my engine is 88x88 bore and stroke 545cc ? 3speed i also have a picture of him on the bike in a book he rode the bike in newbury in 1977 look up PICTORAL HISTORY OF MOTORCYCLING BY CHARLES E DEAN AND BRIAN CRICHTON

thank for the comment but it would be nice get to the bottom.

  • Hi I have some pictures of Vic riding a CCM in 1976 but in 1977 I have pictures of him riding a VE Hagon Yamaha not a CCM. . Vic although a bit short with you on the phone is probably right about not riding CCM in 1977. The works saying the frame and engine number are right to the bike issued to him probably mean for 1976.
