Andrew Fotherington talks to Alyssa & The Community Link Crew (GFM 96.6) about the Barton Memory Fair. The Picturedrome Theatre on Barton Street will be the venue for a unique 'Memory Fair' celebrating the Barton and Tredworth community (Saturday 18 June).
"We would like to encourage ordinary people to see themselves and their lives as a proud and important part of history that is worth documenting." [Andrew Fotherington]
The event is part of the Heritage Lottery Funded Hidden Lives project -- a collaboration between the Gloucester Theatre Company, the University of Gloucestershire and Gloucestershire Archives - to develop a fascinating historical and social record of Barton and Tredworth through spoken reminiscence, digital stories, and the digitisation of documents and artifacts from within the local community.

  • The Hidden Lives website has gone very quiet now. Also, the 'Website - Volunteering - Contribute' addresses are gibberish.

  • His name Is Adam
