not trying to call you out but. theres a few things about this video. first a bungee cord to hold your plane back? and when you started it did you see the plane jump forward? have your friend say in front of the tail, you can easily lose a finger having that thing jump at you. second when your taxi around with that large of a plane elevator up!!!! and youll understand why when your taxi along and your prop digs into the ground and your out 30$. im curious why you dont use to runway?

lol the plane in the background sounds like my plane. I have a tower hobbies trainer 40 and compared to your engine, it sounds like a little mouse. Probably one of the most beautiful planes I have seen yet, nice work.

FINALLY...great music !!!

Man this engine run excellent especially with smoking pump. My smoke recipes are 50% Lamp oil with paraffin + 50% baby oil. My recommendation for good smoke use 100% lamp oil with paraffin.

nice model and engine. I found this video because I wanted to see the engine in action because there is one for sale on ebay. Keep it up 5*.
Check out some of my videos too and see what were flying over at our field. I upload new videos all the time.

Nice plane. Do you know what servos were used for this plane? I have the same plane (Russian Thunder) with the same engine DLE55.

Any comments/problems with the dle 55?

No problems. It's a great engine. Jason has run about 1 gallon through his and I have about 5 gallons through mine. Good power; idles at about 1400 on a 23x8

Good to hear! wow! 1400 is a slow idle... is it still smooth at that speed? Did you use 23x8 for break in too? Thanks for quick reply..
Cheers, ric

I used a 22x8 on Lawnboy ashless at 32:1 for 4 gallons. Switched to 23x8 and Belray at 50:1. It looks like it is going to stop running at 1400 RPM but it just keeps ticking over. I haven't made a single adjustment to the carb needles since I pulled it out of the box. It always starts on the first flip (after the first run of the day).
