In mid-May of 2007, Southern Pacific 4449 (4-8-4) ran light engine from Brooklyn Yard to Union Pacific's Peninsula Junction to meet up with UP 844 (4-8-4), where they met to head northbound on BNSF's Seattle Subdivision and do a few special trips around the Tacoma/Seattle area.
@paolocprail - The flashing top light is a "Mars" light that rotates in a figure-8 pattern to warn people of an oncoming train... the light below it is regular, constant voltage headlight.

That wistle is one of the coolest sounding ones out there...its kinda haunting though...mainly cause its the cry of history
