In mid-May of 2007, Southern Pacific 4449 (4-8-4) ran light engine from Brooklyn Yard to Union Pacific's Peninsula Junction to meet up with UP 844 (4-8-4), where they met to head northbound on BNSF's Seattle Subdivision and do a few special trips around the Tacoma/Seattle area.

  • @paolocprail - The flashing top light is a "Mars" light that rotates in a figure-8 pattern to warn people of an oncoming train... the light below it is regular, constant voltage headlight.
