@thianallen Thanks for the idiotic comment. If you watch the video closely and listen to the song, I'm CLEARLY playing exactly what is played in the original. If you can't tell my drum quality from the original song's quality, I take that as a compliment.

Dude, what good is the microphone? , How to help you to record how they are worn? thanks
Juaacoo 7 months ago
@Juaacoo Mics allow the audio to sound much cleaner and produced than if I used the audio recorded from the video camera. By using microphones, I can get a full sound out of my drums which allows me to mix them to fit the audio of the original track. Usually, you can get creative with mics, so there isn't a specific way they need to be set up. As long as you can find a way to make everything sound good, mics can be used in any kind of way someone would like!

Are you using double bass drum?
pwlae 7 months ago 4
@pwlae yep =(. I barely could play doubles with a single pedal when I posted this video over a year ago. But I promise, I've gotten my single pedal speed faster, and now I can play the intro with one pedal haha.

@stunna442 Thanks! I'm running 8 mics in each recording, a kick mic, a snare mic, a hihat mic, 3 tom mics, and 2 overheads.
