How to install trains and routes into MSTS

This is a video tutorial I made to help people install trains and routes into Microsoft Train Simulator. Enjoy. I will also be making a tutorial on how to make consist with the Activity Editor.

Location of trains folder: C:\program files\microsoft games\train simulator\trains\trainset

Location of routes folder: C:\program files\microsoft games\train simulator\routes

Do you still need to download cab views and sounds?

@murjax When ever I type the name of the file in it says c:/ windows can not find program file. Is there a reson this happens?

@dijonvenableiscool I got the same problem, I've read some about Xtracks, I installed, but still nothing works. When I start the game, there appears a screen that there is a fail in Programfiles\microsoft games\train simulator\trains

Help meeeeeee! I get how to download freeware into MSTS,I just cant get them to appear in the game.I did tons of files and after i put the in the file location,only the same default trains are on their.Plzz leave a commwnt on how to fix this problem.I have windows vista.

if you have windows 7 you type run in the bar in the start

use Camstudio

you can then makes video's for full screen enz.

it's just like you used Fraps for games (I have), but for other things like how do I use cheat engine (example) when I can not route because that is not listed when I installed it there with me heb.kun help (via email)

What if you don't have that run file on your computer?

@sammyb1929 Are you doing it correctly? Instructions. Put disk 1 in. Wait. When instructed, remove disk 1. Put in disk 2. Wait 5 seconds before you click continue (lets the disk load). Click continue. Wait. When instructed, remove disk 2. Put in disk 1 Wait for 5 seconds before you click continue (lets disk load). Click continue and finish installation. Use disk 1 to play. This is how you install most games (disks). Hope this helps. :)

does anyone know how to get msts working on widnows 7 every time i install it and put disk 2 in to complete the install it fails

@plippert01 Well if you open the folder often using run, the path will automatically show up in there, and all you have to do is hit enter. Beats opening it via My Computer. Of course an even faster way that I've been using for the past year is a desktop shortcut.
