'Zigeunerweisen,' written by Sarasate, consists of three parts.
The first two parts expresses the Gypsies' sorrowful lives of wandering in song.
In the final part, their sorrow transforms into joy, and their hidden passion explodes in this fervent dance piece.
The Gypsies' melody and superior technique fills this charming piece.
