Baby is so precious! I have a Dusky conure 4 mos. old. I got him at a bird farm. He's in the training stage now. The lady at the BF who's a bird trainer, says no toys and no letting him out on top of the cage or on my shoulder, for another 2 mos. He's to go from my hand to the cage & conversely. About 4 wks ago, whenever I ask him to step up on left hand, he'd face away from me. This usually occurs w/the left hand, and hardly w/the right hand. Would you know why he has taken to doing this?
