'They Call Me Infidel" -- Infidel is a Christian term. I converted to Islam some seven years ago and have NEVER heard a Muslim use that word. It is always a non-muslim who uses this word! Watch any youtube video, verify it yourself!

And by the Mercy of Allah, you dealt with them gently. And had you been severe and harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from about you; so pass over (their faults), and ask (Allah's) Forgiveness for them; and consult them in the affairs. Then when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allah, certainly, Allah loves those who put their trust (in Him)

There is no compulsion in religion. The right direction is henceforth distinct from error. And he who rejecteth false deities and believeth in Allah hath grasped a firm handhold which will never break.And Allah heareth and knoweth all things

"And lo! of the People of the Scripture there are some who believe in Allah and that which is revealed unto you and that which was revealed unto them, humbling themselves before Allah. They purchase not a trifling gain at the price of the revelations of Allah. Verily their reward is with their Lord. Lo! Allah is swift to take account."

Wow. It took you a year to come up with this "gem" of a comment. I will give you another year to add MF to it.
Jesus was a dark skinned Semite with Semitic features (that is the important thing). If you do not like that , you should not like any of the Abrahamic religions that dominate the World. who knows? Maybe you like Mazda, the ancient God of the Medes. the revolting Islamic revolution of Iran cause more harm to Islam that anything else. I repeat though that Jesus was dark.

@alfalfafalafelmafia Fuck you!
Jesus was a dark skinned Semite. It is about time we changed all of the idols in churches to reflect this truth. Are we courageous enough to do it?

I'd truly be happy to see Christ depicted exactly as you say. I've never had any problem with the way Westerners tend to portray his looks but have never thought for a second he really looked the way most popular art shows him. I've been to a black friend's house where his grandmother had a picture on the wall of a very African looking Christ with a huge Afro and wearing a Dashiki. It got me to thinking that perhaps we portray him in ways that would make him seem most like one of our own.
