Oh, lady, I can tell you're not on a fixed income such as living off your savings or on social security, which just went up 2.9%. Unfortunately, the money is being devalued at a 10%/annum rate. This is what I fear, that so many people cannot think for themselves. Personally, I don't like being robbed of my savings. It was much easier to come by 3cents in 1913 than $1 today. Proof? The new 1913 houses were much much larger in buffalo than new 2008 houses are now.

About the Canadians--yeah you live in one of the border states and tell me again how they don't want to take over the US! He ran for congress 10 times as a republican and won, but the one other time he ran for President he ran as a Liberitarian because the Republican party said no.
