the pros are:
cheap
pretty
a good value for the price
3 different touch settings (4 if you count no sensitivity) which means that if you have weak little fingers like mine you can set it to soft..
3 pedals
88 "hammer action, weighted" keys

cons:
odd action.. there is resistance when you first start to press the keys but then they go down easier after the initial resistance unlike most pianos (except my nonnie's old half broken one) which have smooth consistent resistance..

not many voices available from the display mode.. the rest are midi voices..

really really heavy, which makes it hard to assemble yourself.. you have to lift a 100+ big portion onto the frame.. which is harder than it sounds because you have to place it *just right* to get the screw holes to line up..

the instructions for putting it together don't come with it and the ones online are lame and leave much to be desired.

  • I'm planning on buying my Girlfriend this one, but i have a question, Is this a great choice to play Coldplay songs?

  • @LooisAngel i really dont know. i have never played any of their stuff before. i mainly just play piano wizard games.

  • Why is it so hard to find someone who actually plays the piano in their review? I mean, that's kind of important right? I want to know if it sounds like a real piano.

  • @TheSmackerlacker well i cant speak for others, but for me its because this is my learning piano.. so all you will get out of me is twinkle twinkle little star.. really you dont want to hear me play.. if you scroll back in my videos you will see me play badly on a keyboard.. i play a hundred times worse on a piano..

  • The 'odd action' is the digital piano simulating a real piano. The action is highest on the lower keys and lowest on the higher keys just like in a real acoustic grand piano.

  • @yarlovely i meant that the action is odd when compared to the real pianos i've examined. as in the piano feels a little off and *fake* feeling compared to my nonnies real piano and every other piano ive ever touched. you gotta touch one of these to understand i think..

  • thanks for the review... I want to get this piano for my son and didn't find much info about it online. It seems nice for the price though.

  • I'm getting this piano in jan or feb I played it it sounds like an acoustic grand piano just the sound and feel

  • thanks for uploading this great review. greetings from Turkey

  • @squiggyflop huh... weird, I didn't receive a wire for the pedals... I just got the USB wire, hmmm, thanks for answering so fast though, really appreciate it!

  • @hopefullynotgone did you plug the pedal part in like the instructions said to? because the pedals only work if you plug them into the top bit.. the wire came with the piano
