  • I find it slightly odd though, that the uploader must be making a point that all information should be free without reference and citation... And yet clearly states "I didn't make this video"

  • @waronmondays

Why must that be the point I am making? Why can't I just upload something I find well made and thought provoking, without making some greater point about reference and citation?

The reason I wrote that in the description was because I didn't want to gleam false praise for something that I did not create.

If I cut this movie up with purpose, and made it my own, then I would have no reason to put a disclaimer.

  • @RemixManifesto not to mention youtube would promptly take this off if you didnt put the disclaimer

  • @IngeniusDutchDesign Here are more date corrections

Steamboat Bill Jr 1928 (The song Steamboat Bill was released 1911)

    Modern Times 1936

    Modern Inventions 1937

    Fantasia 1940

    Cinderella 1950

    Alice in Wonderland 1951.

If you look at the power point presentation those dates are correct, the slide show added for the movie really needed a fact checker.

  • @IngeniusDutchDesign Fantasia also came out in 1940 (not 1960), Cinderella came out 1950 and Alice in Wonderland came out 1951. If you look at the power point presentation those dates are correct, the slide show added for the movie really needed a fact checker.

  • @IngeniusDutchDesign Fantasia also came out in 1940 (not 1960)

  • I can't wait to steal this movie!

  • @IngeniusDutchDesign you are correct sir, this movie is a little off in parts, what do you expect?

  • Love the old guy. Hilarious. But a very good point too.

  • Are the mashup guys simply saying that the copyright holders are overcharging for the license to sample? Or are they saying that the copyrights have no value and that there should be no charge for using them?
