You've seen him with Criss Angel and Uri Geller in NBC Phenomenon. This is the latest trailer published by the Phenomenon from NBC Mentalist Ehud Segev (aka The Mentalizer) prior to his off-Broadway debut at the American Theater of Actors in New York City. In this great trailer you can see Segev performing his alltime favorites, as he bends metal, performs telepathy and psychic phenomena, as well as showing his love to combining spirituality and mentalism in the last part where he is interviewed for Harold Channer and he predicts which verse from the Holy Bible Mr. Channer will choose.

that floating card business reaks of a child's magic trick. A real mentalist wouldn't do stuff like that.

3:14 look at his hand, in three seconds more or less he is going to make eye contact and move his hand lower. He then tries to go back to the book to point at the pre-selected sentence, but too late, so he makes eye contact once more and says "You can still change your mind", then goes back to the book and moves his finger to the right sentence, and only then he moves his hand to let the person read it.

A well executed magic trick, that's all. Just look at his hand at all times.
