F.3.A.R. cutscenes (part 3/3) PL FEAR 3

FEAR 3 Cutscenes 22-24 in this part + alternative ending.

F.3.A.R. is an awesome game, as well as the other parts. However I have to admit that F.3.A.R. is the least scary (if even not scary at all), but has the best action.

SPOILER ALERT:
Still there are some "holes" in the plot. For example there is nothing said about Aristide, or Holiday, Becket's death was pointless and Alma is made an innocent poor girl, like if she wasn't murdering dozens of innocent people. And the ending(s)? Well... you will see it by yourself.

Anyway I still love this game and the whole F.E.A.R. series.

fuck this, if they make another game, I won't have any interest in it, Alma is dead one ending or the other. Fuck you! It's your damn world! What I loved most about these games was the psychological stuff, it fascinated me, but now that Alma is dead, all of that just goes flying out the window. She never got to raise a child for herself, she never got the chance to love, and then Fettel just turns on her like that? Damn, am I confused

@crabfight Exactly, bad writing. It's even worse because of the fact that Day1Studios hired John Carpenter and Steve Niles and ppl got more expectations about the plot. After all plot turned out to be a crap and now imo it would have been better if D1S didn't hire them. Now we have "psychological horror" which imo doesn't fit to FEAR universe...

FEAR 2's plot was pretty good, dude. It made Alma more interesting and had a fantastic cliffhanger.

But FEAR 3 fucked all that up.

Maybe they meant to say that Alma was innocent as a child, before the cruelty of her tormentors turned her into a monster. Harlan's callousness led to her becoming a psychopath herself.

But, then again, the whole game seems intent on painting her as a victim, so...fucking bad writing, I guess.

@StealthyHights You are right. It's true that Harlan was the reason of her evil, but still I think Day1Studios made her way too innocent. SPOILER And I didn't like her death :/. She just passed away giving birth and there was no apocalypse or anything similiar, like Jin said "everything seems normal". What's more, I just hate little Alma in shoes and sleeveless dress! WTF, she should look like in cutscene (awesome :3). D1S screwed many things :/.

@ZameR91 yeah, but it wasn't by the same company so there's bound to be a little discrepancy. But to tell you the truth i always thought that there was an underlying innocence that came along with her murder. I don't know maybe that's just me. Like the made Alma out to be the big enemy, but as the whole story progresses you learn her side and all that was done to her, and slowly i grew attached to alma... And i will agree it was way to touchy for a fear game.

@StealthyHights Oh the Creep, Harlan Wade. Yeah they said she really wanted him dead, but imo they made Alma too innocent, like if killing with cold blood dozens of ppl was nothing. Imo they just screwed up things with Alma in F.3.A.R. She is no longer scary at all. Instead of that Harlan is made the only evil person/ghost in that game. Well maybe along with Fettel, who is also screwed up. Always loving Alma and now out of sudden wanting to eat her -_-. Sry for my english.

@StealthyHights But Alma was made innocent in whole F.3.A.R., not only in her last moments. Even Fettel sums up her innocence by saing that Alma was only the conduct of Harlan's evil.

And what person do you have in mind Alma wanted dead?
