It's not the full group, but all of the performers are from the Silk Road Ensemble...

The violinist is Johnny Gandelsman, the cellist is Eric Jacobsen, and I can't tell who the other ones are=)

i could be wrong, but i'm almost certain that the shakuhachi (the wind instrument) player is Kojiro Umezaki and the seated percussionist is Shane Shanahan. great performance, as always! i love these guys!

hey buddy, i was wondering about these "Art Institutes" myself. can you elaborate more on how its bullshit, im not trying to start an argument with you, i just had the same suspision myself, you could give me more inside info.inside info on the bullshitty-ness =D. also i was wondering, there are "Art Institutes" of other places too, like seattle.are they the same? Are all of the schools that look like "art Institute of ______(insert name of big important city here) are they all bullshit as well?

...Please listen to the posting of someone with experience who's been there AND done it. The place is NOT worth it!! Just cuz they have smiles on their faces when they say hi (if any of them still do) DOESN'T make it a good school, or en even mediocre one. All you're paying for is the name! But the School'l wait until your third year to tell you that Art is only 10% art, and 90% bullshit. If you're good at bullshitting, then you can call ANYTHING art, and sell it for thousands.

The Art Institute of Chicago is a WASTE of your time AND money!! If you're A freshman, and are just BEGINNING to have a slight doubt about the place, LISTEN to that feeling!! DON'T just discard is as something normal that just happens to all freshmen their first year!!! If you're a sophomore or older, you already know what I'm talking about. I went there for 5 and a half years. Now? I owe SHITLOADS in loans and still can't find a decent job with my Art SHITstitue diploma! Thanks 4 NOTHING!
