actually we use wooden or blunted metal weapons in germany....but you are right...for the most part they do use silicone weapons

yea, too bad larp's silicone weapons wont be putting nice dents in your plate armor. we actually hit each other in SCA heavy combat. and while some people do use steel plate, not everyone does. leather works just as well. and besides, its lighter, allowing for a more mobile fighter. when you're actually getting hit, that really matters..

wow im sorry to say this but they have really poor armor because of the time period...i prefer the annual fantasy larp battles in germany because i am allowed to bring my sweet plate armor which just looks really cool. but that aside this is very nice
