I see.. you are using the jeet sau in a fascinating way here. I can not help but notice that the concise shapes used in wing chun have such a variety of uses and also built in fail safes.. that position you purposely created could have been an accidental position and yet still the rest works the same. I am student of body physics and find wing chun to be awesome! I have a question though and perhaps it was a mistake, but I notice you do not adhere your heel to the ground? can you share on that?

In chinese boxing one should stay relaxed and rooted in their legs. This give them a much better foundation and it is much easier to deal with someone elses energy. In this video I uprooted myself just to over empesize the upward energy. Good call. I should have had my heels on the floor and more root. Pushing from the ground. However on the video you can see the power even though i uprooted.
