Couples from Angel

Theme songs for all the various couples from Angel: The Series.

This is not an original idea, I've seen at least one other fan video on Youtube doing exactly the same thing, the only problem was that they had terrible taste in music, and I thought I could do better.

Subtitles in the bits where the lyrics might be harder to hear. Oh, and there's some rather strong language, courtesy of Mr. Trent Reznor.

There should be a companion video, centering on the Buffy couples, up pretty soon, I think that'll be a bit more Pop/Punk than this one. Hadn't expected this video to turn out quite so heavy, I originally listed all the couples from both shows together and assigned the songs. When video length meant I had to split the whole thing in two, it just turned out that most of the heavier songs were assigned to the Angel couples. Perhaps that says something about the more adult tone of the show, perhaps it says more about my record collection.

My personal favourite is Wes & Lilah, both the relationship in general, and how well the song I chose fits them.

This video pays attention to no image copyrights whatsoever, taking them almost entirely from google image searches. Any infringement of copyright is regrettable, but the pictures are not the focus of the video, the songs are, the images just give something to look at while they play. Oh, and I don't own the copyright for the songs either. Shame, considering how many millons of copies they've sold...

Yes... Just as Cordelia, or technically Jasmine, was just using Connor.

She killed herself because she was under the influence of Connor's soul. The moral appears to be that souls are pesky things that cause nothing but trouble.

nagel and cordelia hands down the best and hottest couple ever too bad they didnt end up together but they should have they looked just right together, love how cordy brought out the fun side to angel rather than seeing his dark, broody intense self

Really? I always thought she was better suited to Xander - they hated each other and were generally nasty a lot, which I thought worked for them both.

As for Angel, I personally thought that he and Darla were quite sweet. But that's me.

heehee - it's funny that you hate angel and cordy as well as connor, because angel and cordy are my favorite couple, and connor is one of my favorite characters! I'm not trying to criticize, I just think it's funny how we (lovers of the show, human beings, etc.) all have different taste.
