  • Nice 351w project car! I had an 80' with a 351w back in the 90's when I was 18. The 7.5 rear went boom one day lol. It was a fun car. Looked like you still have the stock lower control arms? Replacing upper and lowers with a good after market set with urethane bushings or harder will give it an awesome launch without the wheel hop the stockers give. Nice seeing others with a passion for these old gems and waking them up with some muscles.

  • @CarpathianCarl The lower arms are BBK Gripps and the uppers are Lakewood 2-way adjustables. Glad you like it. I've had this car sense '93. She's my baby.

  • @julie25meadows I had a 79' Cobra too. Had a 306 in it, put in an 8.8 and a T5 from an 86'. Had to use a 79' clutch cable for the trans to work. It was a 13 sec car. If I ever get another, it'll be a 79'-82'. Fun cars when done right. And very light.

  • @MrFomocobro sorry 5.8

  • @Tedgoestojail 351 is a 5.7

  • Not to be a dick,but 351,wouldnt that be a 5.4
