I still use this phone after 3 years and it is still working fine except for the slide thing it sometimes get's stuck so i have to push up to open it fully.. anyway the price was 250 euros, i know that's expencive for this phone but back then it was just released, at least in my country it was released, and i bought it from mall so it was original, so it works perfect i never went to service to fix something, i'll go now for first time just to see to fix the slide problem. :)

@Lanciarules Again you lucky- i own w705 phone- the same phone but a different design.. and with out problems. :)
I have read a lot of topics around the net for the problems - again i just have read.
though it is depends on the area for which the phone have been made for.
EU, i, etc..

@VoLtrex31 in biggest italian forum about mobile phones there is a big thread on this G705, and no one owner of this model has your problem. Probably we're not lucky but you had been unlucky
-
@Lanciarules you lucky.. though this is what so amazing about sony ericsson -
each phone the same model have different problems which even don't have nothing in common.
-
@VoLtrex31 mine never restarted in one year
-
You have forgotten that the phone is restarting itself and stack from while to while.. So that why i have not bought the phone.
By the way this phone is the same as the W715 but with a little different design.

GREAT PHONE ( and you don't need internet to use the GPS )

yeah the GPS receiver in the phone doesn't need wifi, at&t etc, but Google maps needs an internet connection to update it's maps as you move from place to place, because it's not downloaded onto the phone etc.

It's funny how people are asking you all kinds of questions about the phone on here when they could just look that stuff up on their own.
To criticize your review of the phone: It's a phone. Focus on that: How good is call quality, clarity, and reception? How is the speaker phone? Then, onto menu responsiveness; is it quick or slow? In line with that, how is the texting experience? Then you can move to camera quality, applications, and internet. I think that makes for a good review.

Yeha, that's why I only answer questions that request my personal opinion on this phone.
Also thanks for your comment, this was one of my first reviews so that's why it wasn't so good, but I'm getting better.
