  • The pilots experience as a glider pilot made this beautiful landing possible. Well done.

  • Not really luck. I think its more of the pilot experiences.

  • @jedaqia Everyone involved really. Airbus for building a good airplane. The airline for keeping up with maintenance. The pilot for landing it. The flight attendants for running an orderly evacuation. The passengers for not completely panicking. Everyone from the factory to the river did exactly what they were supposed to.

  • RAFTING!

  • Was the camera operator drunk?

  • yes watch the pilot interviews. This guy was probably the best one to have on that plane. Also note the type of plane this was, airbus' are specifically designed to survive water landings.

  • That was pure luck friend! Airplanes with Underwinged have a tendency to brake in pieces upon impact!

What happened there probably is one in a million chances!

  • que viva el piloto ese piloto se merese un gran aplauso ese si es piloto penso lo mejor para salbar a sutripulasion i los que estavan en tierra u. s.a n 1

  • good to know planes float for obviously a very long time. Makes me feel more safe while flying
