That's real cute a maginifying glass for the Atom Ant model. How did you do all this.

- i rendered atom ant at two different sizes in lightwave.
- the i made two quicktime moves from the renders then imported them into final cut.
- i stacked the movies on top of one another.
- i drew the magnifying glass using illustrator and photoshop.
- then i imported the photoshop elements into final cut.
- i created a big mask with a hole in the center
- i moved the glass on the arch i wanted and had the mask follow it.
- the mask revealed the lower quicktime movie.

@johnpicha Sounds pretty complicated but clever. How many hours did it take you to make this video?
i made this awhile ago, so i don't remember exactly how long it took. but if i had to guess, i think i went from collecting reference to upload over the course of 3 evenings.
