Narrated Jungle Maokai Guide (Tank/Support hybrid) Part 2

This is my take on Jungle Maokai. Maokai has been my main since I started playing in Yorick patch and I love him. He is such a versatile champ and fulfills so many roles and has incredibly high utility.

Build:
0/21/9, taking bladed armor in defense and runic affinity in utility.

Runes:
Flat attack speed reds
Flat armor Yellows
Scaling Magic resist blues
Flat AP quints

The core item of this build is shurelya's reverie. this item does two really great things for you; It grants you an escape as Maokai has none and It works wonders getting since long distance initiates off with your W. After getting shurelya's I will typically build spirit visage into force of nature if I'm facing an AP heavy team. Alternatively, I'll build a randuins omen and a frozen heart if I'm facing an AD heavy team. If my team is competent, I will invest in items like Aegis of the legion, Abyssal Scepter and Stark's fervor. If I'm carrying I will build a trinity force after my shurelya's (Thanks, Chu8). Luxury items include warmogs (if they start building penetration), Rabadon's deathcap (for that extra oomph), Guardian angel (if team fights are dragging on).
