This is part eleven of an interview that John and Yoko gave to Jann Wenner, founder and publisher of Rolling Stone magazine, on December 8th, 1970. This is his first major post-Beatles interview and it contains some scathing criticism of The Beatles, Apple, and everyone in between. I consider this to be one of John's finest interviews.

  • very honest...so straight from the heart. John was a legend cause he was so open

  • I used to live on West 72nd St. in NYC and I can see that this is the Dakota building and if I'm not mistaken Lennon's coming out of the entrance where he was shot. And behind him is the entrance to Strawberry Fields, a small piece of Central Park dedicated to his memory. I used to walk by here all the time. It's been about twenty years ago, and at that time there were still pictures of Lennnon in some of the windows of the different shops in that area.
