  • This is NOT the facelifted carrera, right ?

  • No, you are right.. this is the 355 bph version.

  • "twice faster"...it means what?... Let's see some figures if its true...

    0 - 1000 m

    997 S: 23,4 secs

    997 turbo: 22,2 secs

    Twice faster means that a 997 turbo should need 23,4 sec /2 )= 11,7 s.. no it takes 22,2secs..

    Mex speed:

    997 S: 293 km/h, 997 turbo: 310 km/h, "twice faster" means that a turbo should go to 586 km/h(293 x 2) ???

    Twice faster..no !!!

A 997 S is not a turbo but it goes fine enough for most car fans...

  • After a few years of hard work I finally got my dream car, first I had a 964 Targa, then went to 996 Carrera 4 and now currently the proud owner of a 997 Carrera S.

I have test driven M3s, XJRs, 355 and 360s even, but none can compare to the good old 911.

The sound, classic looks, performance, build quality and stunning steering feel are all things to die for.

Porsche - there is no substitute!

  • @Avoirrr

thats nonsense. 997 is the predecessor of the new 991 and the successor of the 996. all of them being 911. take my word for it, i have a "non-turbo" 997 in my garage ;)

  • THE CAR IN THE VIDEO IS A NORMAL 911 CARRERA S NOT A 997 997 = 911 TURBO IF THE GUY HAD A 997 , "TURBO" , WOULD STAND IN THE RPM FIELD

  • I love my 911

  • I love PORSCHE!

  • stock sound?

  • is this stock sound?

  • 19.0/100km is good....but i get 16 in my Sport SUV ...wonder why .

  • @GT3LM nissan GT-R possibly

  • @GT3LM Dude, you summed it up ;)

  • its unbelievble that you can buy a 997 325hp for around 35thousand, second hand.

    wow.such a great sportscar.

actually even the 996,even though the front light they dont appeal to every one. i think its still great value considering you buy a 10 years old porsche with 300hp for less then 20thousand euro.
