This video describes my understanding of how humans interact with the world around them by considering constraints and indifference curves. I think I neglected to say it in the video, but a person's "preferences" can be represented by their set of indifference curves, so maybe that will help you a little bit when listening to the part of this video about indifference curves. If I was better at making videos, I would've provided many graphs throughout the video to demonstrate better how budget constraints and indifference curves interact, and I could've thrown an example in there that touches on incommensurability as well. Maybe I'll find some way to do that in the future with a more detailed series of videos. This here is just an overview.

I would also like to mention that Evid3nc3 has a video (of much much higher production quality) which also discusses how humans interact with reality, but he covered more of the learning side, whereas I covered the decision-making side.

I agree with most of his views in that video, and I think the learning about oneself and about reality which one gains from considering evidence is helpful in getting a better idea of what really are the actions which are possible and will lead you to the greatest possible satisfaction. As of the making of this video, I do not know whether or not Evid3nc3 would agree with my views here. From the several times that I have shared my views with people in the past, I always get negative or dismissive reactions from just about everybody. My view of this aspect of reality is a rather bland and depressing one, but it rings true to me, and I value truth greatly. Depressing or not, I make the best of what I have, and I do still have many happy times despite how sad my worldview may appear.
