"When any part of the ball carrier’s body, except his hand or foot, touches the ground or when the ball carrier is tackled or otherwise falls and loses possession of the ball as he contacts the ground with any part of his body, except his hand or foot..."

HILARIOUS that the one play Memphis fans have had to cling to for 12 years isn't even legitimate. nobody is blind here- the replay shows what happened. this video which so many people have come here to celebrate (12 years later) is in all actuality PROOF that Memphis didn't technically win this game. Maybe the SEC officials that called this game are the same ones calling games this year? Now THAT would make sense...
