@seonfox I agree but Patsy will always be remembered now because after Coal Miners Daughter like you said renewed interest in her then all the girls started calling her their inspiration and Poor Dottie was let down badly by Nashville but the others may have their biographies and their compilation CD's but they don't have what Dottie has a loyal and very strong fan base who fighting to get her inducted into the hall of fame
@seonfox I have to admit I grew up on DOTTIE WEST HIGHWAY in MCMINNVILLE TN and never knew any of her music untill a year or so ago you are right there are many great people that are all but forgotten I am glad people have posted these clips so people like myself can be exposed to the work they left us.
@latokatn506 Really sad. Patsy Cline was also virtually forgotten in the 70s. If it werent for Coal Miner's Daughter in 1980, most people wouldn't even know who she is. It's a shame that true talent like Dottie and Patsy.. Cowboy Copas.. Hawkshaw Hawkins.. etc etc etc can be all but forgotten

Its hard to believe this shy, country woman would a decade later would be so sexy and spunky. Still a good song, I love this one.
