@JoshLucas5 No, they are not the same thing. A constant current source circuit will provide the same current through the load regardless of the voltage agross it. A constant current source will provide the same voltage across the load regardless of the current through it. To a point though.
Question. What is the difference between a current source and a voltage source? I know one supplies current and one supplies voltage, but can they both conceivably be the same thing?
@JoshLucas5 Voltage source is the one which tries to keep a constant voltage at its output if the load is varying.
Similarly, the current source always tries to keep a constant current (to which it is designed to provide) even there is a change in load.

No. One has theoretically infinite impedance (current source), while the other very low impedance (voltage source).
