This is part of the on going process of making an adaptive load sensitive cruise control. Here I am testing the range of movement of the servo motor and the Toyota Echo throttle. Since the servo motor has an electric motor, I can control both direction and speed of the motor. With this, I am able to have continuous control rather than discrete control. I used 2 NPN and 2 PNP transistors to make an H-Bridge witch controls the direction and speed using the Arduino's PWM analog outputs.
This is an upgrade to the already existing system, witch employed a vacuum operated actuator. You can see further information of the mod visiting the ecomodder home page, just search for load sensitive cruise control and you will find my post in the forum.
