@coolalimefun The Turks existed at the same time as the Mongols, and before that, they lived in Anatolia. At some point, as I recall, the Mongols attacked the Turks and forced them further west, but eventually, the Turks Turkicized the western mongols (the Ilkhans, I think they were called) and integrated them into their society.

So yeah, most Turks might actually have Mongolian blood in them, but you're not 'pure', 'direct' descendants like the native Mongolians might be. Still awesome though!
