Thriller Dance Practice for THRILL THE WORLD @ Belvedere Park in East LA (10/13/09)

This is one of the many practices around LA area preparing for the annual worldwide event which is a tribute to recently deceased KING OF POP: MICHAEL JACKSON and also an attempt to break the world record of most people dancing THRILLER simultaneously around the world.

This year event will take place at LA Live Nokia Theater in Downtown LA on Oct 24 2009 at 5:30 PM.

If you live outside the LA area, please visit the umbrella website below for the list of events all around the world. If there's no event in your area, and you want to organize one, that'd be perfect. all you need is some time to instruct other participants and be able to gather more than 25 people for the event! more info on that in on the umbrella webpage by clicking the CREATE AN EVENT button.

Please do not underestimate yourself. this dance is much easier than you think it is. it just 8 simple sections repeated in different orders.
If you have time to join one of the practices, please do. the instructors are all helpful and it's fun meeting new people that you're gonna dance with in a few weeks. but if you dont have time, it's ok. we still have instructional vids for you to learn in anywhere at anytime that you can.

and Sunday, October 18 Thriller Flash Mob at AIDS Walk Los Angeles. Meet at 11 a.m. at N. Sycamore & 1st in Hollywood. this is gonna be conflict wit the practice in Victory park but i'm not sure. if there's anymore updates, i'll post.
