The Black Irish Band perform the classic, Danny Boy. The Eagle Theatre (One of California's oldest) was a perfect location for the concert. The band performed without any sound at all, just like in the 1800s. Band member Steve McArthur sings lead on this popular Irish favorite.

Isn't it sad tho.  All the politics cited here, all the nationalism so claimed . It is Irish, it is English, it is American. Does it matter. Here is a beautiful song from a father, who is dying, to his son Danny, telling him to live on and, loving him so, awaits his return as summer warms the meadow. And is that not a wish of us all who go before, to those who live on after. And the earth in which we will all eventually lie, cares not of any of this, cept that we love each other living in peace
