In times of war rape is a psychological weapon for which women and young girls pay the highest price. Since the start of the year 1,400 women have been reportedly raped in the North Kivu region of the DR Congo, and a third of those were underage.

  • We must do our part to help DRC stand on her own! Watching videos is great to learn about the reality of DRC, but if you don't act on the information you have gained, than you are just as guilty as the soldier who rapes, robs, and murders. Get active! Help DRCongo!

  • It astounds me this kind of violence and abuse continues to go on with no consequence to to the perpetrators! Collectively we've got to take a stand for these women, get active in your community to find ways to help them take back their power. Our apathy can only serve to perpetuate the cycle of violence! DO something people! Even if it's simply sending this video out to your email list!
