I cried the first time that i watched this. I have struggled with eating disorders. I make my self throw up and i cut myself. It was at my friends church that i first watched it. This saved my life i was ready to give up and i think that God spoke to me and told me that everything was going to be ok. I still cut but i am trying to stop. Any ideas on how i can stop?

@hollisterxoxo22 Hi, thanks for your comment. I'm glad this helped you a little, god is a very powerful figure and can fill us with all sorts of emotions and faith. Sorry to hear you feel the way you do, I can't imagine what the eating disorder must be like. I recommend expressing your negative emotions in a healthy way such as writing down in a diary, painting or even writing songs. Be creative! Make sure to remove any sharp objects and identify what triggers your urge.

@hollisterxoxo22 When you feel like self harming, confide in a teacher, school counselor, parent, friend, relative, etc. Confiding in somebody who is trustworthy will be well worth it; they will be able to give you advice, support, help you understand your emotions, and be an alternative outlet rather than cutting. Don't be discouraged if they seem shocked, scared, or maybe even horrified. Of course it will have a massive impact on them. Wait for the person to come to terms with the situation.

@hollisterxoxo22 However, always be sure to confide in someone who you know will help you. Lastly TRUST in your faith and listen to some songs or videos that improve your mood or empower you. I will always recommend watching this video and music video's like Katy Perry's 'Firework' and P!nk's 'Perfect'. Good luck! <3
