The people making comments here criticizing and condemning me and the video for it's historical inaccuracies and lack of realism are just proving they've failed to read or comprehend the video description.

Maybe I should have put the disclaimer in the video.

@defaultalreadytaken When you originally made this what was the cause of the Spears in the Anti aircraft, before they patched it? a bug?

@FAZER00432 I don't remember an official explanation, but it's generally understood to have been a deliberate effect, not a bug. It was meant to represent shrapnel. I'm guessing they couldn't refine the effect so just cut it out altogether. In most in-game scenario's it wasn't as noticeable as it is in this video, with so much of it going off all at once.

And yet it was horribly haunting, nonetheless. Aside from the flak, and the constant drone of the engines, it was sterile, quiet, almost peaceful. And then you see the bombs falling out, and you realise what death and destruction was being wrought below. A powerful 6 minute anti-war message. Thanks.

@ara9ond Thanks for the comment. It wasn't a deliberate anti-war video, but I guess anything that gives one a sense of what war is really like has an anti-war message for those who can see it.

Its almost realistic looking except for those shrapnel spears which thankfully was removed later on in the game. But still this is all very nice.

Being a pilot, or anyone else on those bombers would take some major courage. 1/3rd of pilots never made it through the war (and that is an allied fact, not a axis one)

@retrofly9 Hitler's Generals had the right idea and were successful in targeting installations/ air fields, but Hitler of course had to completely ruin everything by order the bombing of major cities.. Also, there was some experiment in 1974 where scientists/analysts got together to see how successful the invasion would have been, and found that of 90,000 that invaded, only 15,000 Germans would return home, and of course once Hitler decided to invade Russia, all hopes of invasion were lost..
