Here's a link to a novel I wrote. Check it out.

I still feel 25,
most of the time.
I still raise a little cain with the boys.
Honky tonks and pretty women.
Lord I'm still right there with them.
Singing above the crowd and the noise.

Sometimes I feel like Jesse James,
Still trying to make a name.
Knowing nothings gonna change what I am.
I was a young troubadour,
when I rode in on a song.
and I'll be an old troubadour,
when I'm gone.

Well, The truth about a mirror,
It's that a damn old mirror.
Don't really tell the whole truth,
It don't show what's deep inside.
Or read between the lines,
and it's really no reflection of my youth.

Sometimes I feel like Jesse James,
Still trying to make a name.
Knowing nothings gonna change what I am.
I was a young troubadour,
when I rode in on a song.
and I'll be an old troubadour,
when I'm gone.

I was a young troubadour,
when I rode in on a song.
and I'll be an old troubadour,
when I'm gone.

I'll be an old troubadour,
when I'm gone.

Thanks for watching and listening to this song.

  • Thank you so much Forryga. I'm really glad you like it.

  • This reminds me of growing up and listening to you play. I guess I was lucky that way. I think that this might be my favorite, but I'm still waiting for Blackbird:)hint, hint

  • Thanks Heather. I'll get to Blackbird one of these days. Love you Hun

  • You're still a young troubadour. I can tell by the way you still mix it up with some of the other you-tubers.

  • Well some times you have to kick a little butt and take names later. (^_^) Thanks for the comment Kintonte

  • wow Stuart. I must say... Congratz on the number of views on this video. Amazing.

  • Thanks Corey, It's a little more country than the songs I usually sing, but George really wrote a song that is meaningful to an old geezer like me. So I just had to play and sing it

  • It really resonates with an older guy like me. Thanks

  • Thanks omega34x, for the comment and also for all you do for the group.

  • Thanks for the comment. I like that part too.

  • Thanks Rick, I'm so glad you liked it.
