I've beem on Topamax for 2 years now. It helps a whole bunch...but thenall of a sudden I'll have an outbreak of migraines with aura (vision loss, numbness, confusion...all the fun stuff) and I wonder why. But, who can explain a genetic disease with no cure!! At these time I go in for an infusion of high dose depacon, solumedrol and ativan. It usually breaks the cycle....but I feel just worn out and beat up for a few days.
