Woman getting kicked by horse

Note the white horse with dark patch on his face in stall on left is agitated. She lets big white horse out at 7:48:11, he leaves barn and goes into pasture. She lets dark colored horse out at 7:48:30 but she turns the wrong way and goes further into the barn. White horse comes back in and they both go to far end of barn. Dark horse turns around away from white horse and goes into full gallop followed by white horse. White horse deliberately looks at woman, takes aim, and delivers an accurate side kick at about 7:48:44. Although the kick made contact, the woman was not hurt.

By the way, that's not a whip, it's a Savvy stick; quite different than a whip. It's basically a stick with a string on the end used as a body language prop.

No, give the woman a break, the horse obviously is rude and just has no manners.

It was her fault if she would get halters and leads and take the horses out then there would be no loose horses to cause any problems.

maybe if the woman would have actually used some horsemanship and led the horses outside and closed the gate instead of being lazy and letting them run out on their own with the gate still open this wouldn't have happened.

I love horses, and been caring for some as a basic helper at the stable I go and any time that could have happen. Sure it's easy to see it now, with the recording, it's obvious the horse is frustrated for not being fed / lay off outside but the woman is not abusing any horse - after she was kick she even did not do anything bad - she carry on her job and close the stable. From evidence A (video) fault is mis-reading the horse.

I do not believe in letting horses run to/from pastures. It creates unnecessary dangers to the horses and humans that are at the barn and conditions the horse to run once a gate is opened. In the long run it is much faster to lead a horse in/out because you don't have to deal with them running around like loonies.
