unfortunately the stats on psychopathy/sociopathy are on the rise. studies are linking the per capita increase of these behavioral anti-social disorders with an increase of childhood trauma and the destruction of the nuclear family. basically children that experience PAS (google it) and other stresses that disrupt normal emotional growth and formation of emotional bonds during their 1st 4 years of life have a far greater chance of expanding the estimated 2-4% of sociopaths in western society.
