This 60 second TV commercial was aired back in 1957 promoting the Convertable and Sedan Cadillacs, it is in black and white with good quality pictures and sound, it starts off showing the Cadillac hard top pulling out of a driveway while music of its time is playing as background, the announcer starts talking about the benifits of owning a used Cadillacs then goes on to show the convertable driving down a sunny palm tree lined street, all the while the announcer is talking about the benefits of owning a quality used Cadillac with its strong resale value abd safety features that other new cars do not offer for the same price. (Sample photos shown) This was a well done TV commercial for its time as you would expect from the makers of Cadillac.
Great practicality? At 8 MPG?

@videoguy604 For the era, that was amazing. Japanese cars were expected to last ten months in the sixties, which is why many of them cost under $50 American. A Friend of mine has a '72 Chevy that is literally all original (except tyres, fluids and wipers) and the thing runs like a dream even though the odometer has wrapped over several times and is now over 420,000 miles and he does NOT baby the car, in fact it all started as an effort to kill the car, but being American, that just doesn't work.

@TheDullahan Saying that your car is still running smoothly after "2 or 3 years of service" doesn't sound like something to brag about.

@videoguy604 Yeah...except at...
Wait, is there even a field Japan ever beat America in? Let's see? We beat Japan at building cars, creating software and developing the bomb. Yeah, America won, bitch. Go back to Asia.

A Cadillac.... "economical"? You've gotta be shitting me. I love Caddys, my dad had one when I was growing up, and I can only hope to be so lucky as to have one of my own when I am older. However, Cadillacs are anything but economical lol.

"Even after it has seen 2 or 3 years of service" No wonder Japan kicked Detroit's ass.
