  • wirelessoptical, the turbocharger loves and needs backpressure created from the exhaust system. The best perfomance exhaust gain you can get is from putting on a higher flowing downpipe(part of the turboback exhaust system). Driving without an exhaust, especially without a downpipe is harmful to the engine and creates less power. The only thing it does is that it makes the car louder.

  • he put a cat back on. Didnt touch the downpipe or anything else. But you are right without a downpipe things would not perform the same.

  • sounds sick dude. what exhaust did you wind up putting on it?

  • If i remember correctly it was a cat back from turbo xs. Mind you this is still has no exhaust on the car in the video.

After my friend got the exhaust on the car is a little quieter but still nice to hear.

  • @Tracksterman237 This is mis-information. Turbos work based on something called a pressure differential, where there is more pressure before the turbine, and less after it. The larger the ratio the more efficient it is. Therefore turbos need as much flow as possible after the turbo and the smoothest flow that you can create going in to the turbo.

  • hatch or sedan ?

  • @Tracksterman237 your dumb, you DO NOT need backpressure on a turbo car. The turbo is the backpressure.

  • @Tracksterman237 Are you serious? Back pressure on your turbo isn't better for it than easier flow. Non-back pressure systems give you more power. It is not harmful whatsoever.

  • @Shimmyshady1012 and the whole emissions thing.

  • @pressrolls disagree! Steering wheel looks amazing for a stock model.

  • Sounds GREAT but that is one CHEAP ASS dated interior, lord!

  • is that hurting anything on ur car??

  • my sub broke hhahaha

  • @Urabus08 Holy hell we drove it less then 2 miles, to a shop to cut the spring bolts so we could put the turboxs catback on. It runs perfectly fine to this day...Ya weiner
