Biela isn't at fault in this crash, anyone that has been close to crashing at high speed will tell you that when something suddenly gets in your way and you only have a split second to react, 90% would brake as hard as they can instead of trying to swerve around an obstacle... It's a natural human instinct, that when something goes wrong you wanna slow down. Odor made the exact same "mistake" as Biela a year earlier, where Tarquini spun, and Odor plowed straight into him!

i read some comments saying "look hes aiming for him!" well how about you shut the FUCK up and learn something about driving on a racing track?! like thelostlibertine said, you are tought to go straight if cars are moving across the track since the chance is just the same to miss it compared to when you try to avoid the wreck.

PLUS, he hammered the brakes, thats why he couldnt have manouvred the car anyways. its not his fault you dumbfucks. get some common sence and respect!

Biela I think was expecting Odor to go onto the other side of the barrier (non grass side) which would account for him keeping in a straight line. Unfortunately Odor suddenly stopped where he did and that`s the reason for the crash. The other thing I see are no brake lights from Odor and that would surely suggest that he was unconscious after he hit the barrier before Biela hit him. If he were conscious he would have reversed the car onto the grass perhaps. -daz in oz

why do people think Biela did this on purpose? its pathetic! he didnt want a good friend to be killed...and if he did he wouldnt have become BTCC champion the next year... O'Dor was popular and it was a sad accident but thats all it was...an accident...seriously wtf do people know? you cant stop a car that quickly when going 150mph!

@trashguy if you've finished with your undeserved sense of superiority, ill say it again, since it wasnt clear enough the first time. How did a professional driver fail to avoid a stationary car in the middle of a straight, when he had about 100 meters to react. He had way more time and space than the first 3 cars that passed Odor. So why did he panic? What i'm alluding to here is, it was a shit piece of driving that cost somebody their life.

I wanna say Biela's hit killed Oder, but when Oder hit that wall, there was no response, in the steering, brakes, or gas. I didn't even see him moving inside either. So is it possible that Oder may have died before he was even hit by Biela?

What the fuck was Biela looking at? He has a hundred meters to see what was in front of him, and then the guy shits himself and instead of steering to avoid him, slams on the brakes and locks up his front wheels. I'm surprised at this more than anything.
