Zelda CD-i Scene: Crater Cove

It seems this isn't present on YouTube. Considering this is one of the most entertaining parts of The Faces of Evil, I'm changing that with my first vid.

That wouldn't be a bad idea, actually. I'd like to play them myself, but only to truly judge how bad they are. Too bad it doesn't seem like the CD-i is coming to the Wii's Virtual Console any time soon (it already has too many outdated games, it you ask me).

Well first off this game wasnt even created by the original creators of the zelda franchise. In the old days nintendo partnered with a company known as philips. why i think was to produce cd zelda games but nintendo decided at the last moment they wouldnt do a cd zelda game yet and they forfeited their partnership with philips. however philips had legal permission still from nintendo to make a zelda game. so they made their own zelda game unfortunatly it turned out like shit.

well truth be told i got it on ebay for 83 bucks but either way it would still be hundreds of dollars usually

Holy crap, you have a CD-i? lol. Did you get it back when it was on the market, or did you pay hundreds of dollars to get one recently? 'Cause it sells for a pretty penny nowadays, now that it's become somewhat of a collector's item.

At any rate, what I heard of the music sounded good, so I agree with you there. I think people hate it because it mutilates perhaps the best video game series ever. Zelda cutscenes should move you, not make you laugh, after all. ;P

i have a cd-i and i actually love this game. not as much as a real zelda game but i find the music good the game play average and the cutscenes hilarious. especially glutko.
