When judging I see so many errors on the jump in RA and RE. Handlers stop, adjust to their dogs after the jump (it's the DOG who returns to heel) and even block their dog into the jump.
this video was done with my Tues AM rally class to illustrate mistakes - and talk about judging. The questions you hear are from real students - three of them are ready or competing in RA and RE.
I hope this helps you. This was set up as a drill after my "lecture" to work on control and is the 2nd part in their class sessions - last week we did a jump "chute" with three jumps, bar, high and broad - to get the dogs used to control and all the jumps.
Unfortunately, my little wonder dog was NOT at his best - but he's still my best boy and my dream dog. ;-)
