Desperate Lies of the BBC - "Reporter" John Sweeney, pilloried on YouTube as the "exploding tomato," proves once again that you can lead him to the truth, but you can't make him think. Watch the investigative video report.

"Scientology and Me", a Panorama investigation into Scientology written and presented by Sweeney, was aired on BBC One on Monday, 14 May 2007. Prior to its airing, video footage filmed by the Church of Scientology was released on YouTube (this video!) and on DVD that showed Sweeney shouting at Scientology representative Tommy Davis during a visit to CCHR's "Psychiatry: An Industry of Death". The clips were sections of a documentary the Church of Scientology's Freedom Magazine TV produced about the BBC Panorama programme.

This was only caused by the fact that the Church had been pushing his buttons all the way through the programme and also the quote that a scientologist said just before this that "psychiatrists caused the holocaust". Wouldn't you get angry at something like that?? Especially if you had been followed, interrupted all the time and had to sit through 30 mins of a weird museum.

Im a qualified sound engineer and the I can tell quite easily that the audio has been manipulated. The waves are peaking far behond what could be capable at that range, unless it amplfied or set behond its level.

To all criticising John, remember you are sat at a computer with absolutely no pressure on you whatsoever. Let's see how you respond with someone harrassing, chipping at, talking over you and generally trying to coral you into something you don't believe for an extended period of time. You have absolutely no context whatsoever and are looking at one clip in isolation with exaggerated audio posted as propeganda.

Should I bother posting my opinions? I know, as was seen in last nights documentary, if I post any comments at all critical of Scientology or even just defending Sweeney, my comment will be deleted.

Anyway, to see the actual truth watch the full documentary on the BBC website (which has not been edited to only leave lines which favour the "church"s argument.
