i love victoria! i have lived here all my life and the tourists need to shut up about how " cold, grey, and windy" it is! you should have looked up the climate before you came. if you say the beaches are dirty you only went to the crap tourist beaches. you went to canada, not mexico, get over yourself.

Victoria is very beautiful and has a very European feel. I will say it seems as if many locals do not like Asians. I am white and my Gf is Chinese and she left the hotel without me and was harassed horribly with random racial slurs. I felt so bad for her. We did a search online and it seems it is a problem in Victoria more so than Vancouver.

i live in victoria, the crim is very very low if there one murder its EVERYWHERE on the new because it doesnt happen much it quit a nice place if you do come here you should stay in Langford or downtown (:

Well i don't think your completely right there. rent is about the same but in Victoria the cost of living is much higher, for example fruits and vegetables in some instances are 3 times the price because we live on an island. Maybe the houses are a bit cheaper, not that much cheaper, but the cost of living is much higher
