Rotary Connection was a psychedelic soul band formed in Chicago in 1966.This album(PEACE)(included this song) was a Christmas release, with strong pervasive messages of love and understanding for a nation in the grips of Vietnam. The album's cover art of a hippie Santa Claus more than makes its intentions known.

Chicago Music Scene in Mid late 60's so many great and little known groups. Would put up some the groups I listen to in clubs up against any of the that time and today.

i had this album for a minute, i was too young to get it so i sold it, some kinds of music you have to grow into to appreciate it. i still don't get it but i can appreciate it.

Just to be clear.. she did not start out with the Rotary Connection.. She was a member of the girl group "The Gems" long before she joined this group.. She also had solo songs under various names. :)
