Looking back on this, it's still hilarious how people like Olbermann and others immediately declared this to be a Republican conspiracy. You know, God forbid any American who isn't silver tongued and golden pocketed gets anywhere near an office! Yes the voters clearly weren't making an informed decision, but that should speak to our poor two party system, if an incumbent is from the local popular party, they win, so most "serious" (read: career politicians) won't run against them.

I really don't know which is worse, people like Sarah Palin that aren't too smart but try to seem like they are. Or people like Greene who are too stupid to even try to make themselves presentable as a senatorial candidate.
